Waking up to the static of a loud world moving fast, I try to build a future while praying that it lasts, leaving all the pressure that was burning in my chest because I look up to the mountains and He gives my spirit rest. I was drowning in the doubt and I couldn't see the shore, but the moment that I knocked He went and opened up the door, so no weapon formed against me has the power or the might because I’m stepping out of darkness and I’m walking in the light. We hold the line steady and we keep the daily faith, never running from the storm because we're running to His grace, anchored in the truth when the waters get deep, following the Shepherd as the leader of His sheep. They try to count me out and they try to dim the shine, but I’m moving with a purpose and a vision so divine, fueled by the Spirit as I navigate the noise, waking up to the morning just to make a better choice. I stay humble in the valley while I praise Him on the peak, finding supernatural strength when the flesh is feeling weak, pushing through the grind of this marathon run because the victory is secured by the Father and the Son.
